Double Spey Tips - "The X Axis"

This week’s RIO Fly Fishing Tip continues the focus on making a good Double Spey cast with a two-handed Spey rod. In the second of three Double Spey tips, Simon Gawesworth shows the significance of landing the line as close to you as possible on the “Set Up” stroke, to ensure the largest, and most effective D-loop, by focusing on the “X-axis”.
