How is it possible that a stream like this and its wild trout receive so little attention!

I'm exploring another wild trout stream in North Carolina and it's full of wild rainbow trout. I'm still shocked at the quality of trout fishing in North Carolina. There are miles of public wild trout water, and some are easy to access but still feel super remote. Many appear to not get fished much. No trails, litter or other obvious signs of a highly fished area. From what I saw many people drive past them on their way to the hatchery supported waters.
